Information you give us directly

• Account information: email address, and password (encrypted) if you create an account
• Payment information: if you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers.
• Content you create: mission logs, wins you record, journal/notes entries, and any messages you send to our AI coach feature

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: pages/screens viewed, missions started/completed, streaks, XP earned, and general app engagement, collected via Google Analytics
• Device information: device type, operating system, browser type, and general location (city-level, derived from IP address)
• Cookies and similar technologies: used to keep you logged in and to understand how the App is used

We use Google Analytics to understand usage patterns. Google Analytics may collect data in accordance with Google's own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App
• Process subscription payments and manage your account
• Send you transactional emails (account confirmations, receipts, password resets)
• Send you optional marketing or product emails, which you can unsubscribe from at any time
• Understand how people use the App so we can improve it
• Respond to support requests sent to coach@retrologic.app
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraud

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us operate the App, including:
  • Google Analytics (usage analytics)
  • Zoho Mail (customer support email)
  • Resend / Amazon SES (transactional emails such as receipts and password resets)
  • Stripe (payment processing)
• Legal requirements: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RetroLogic, our users, or the public
• Business transfers: if RetroLogic is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction

We retain your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Opt out of marketing communications (via the unsubscribe link in any marketing email)
• Opt out of analytics tracking (see Section 1)

RetroLogic is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16, where required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at coach@retrologic.app and we will delete it.

RetroLogic is a self-improvement and motivational tool. It is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment, therapy, or medical advice.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date above.
